Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Delegation of the European Commission organized a meeting devoted to information and consultation service aspects of the Transatlantic Agreement in Trade and Investment (TTIP). They also talked about the negotiations of the Agreement on Trade in Services (TISA). The meeting took place on 19 September 2014. At the EC Delegation in Warsaw.

During the meeting the benefits they can get Polish consumers and businesses with a broad sense of the services sector through the conclusion of agreements by the European Union TTIP and Tisa. Representatives of the Directorate-General. Trade of the European Commission (EC) has approached while the origins and current course work on agreements discussed, as well as the basic elements of a negotiating position, which presents in this respect the EU.

Moreover, discussed, among others, the impact of trade agreements on the further course of multilateral negotiations within the World Trade Organisation (WTO). Also discussed the potential challenges for the Polish regarding the further liberalization of trade in services, as well as the issue of the recognition of new and innovative ways to provide services in the contracts TTIP and Tisa.

Representatives of the Ministry of Economy and the European Commission encouraged the representatives of the NGOs to regular consultations with the government. Recalled that the Ministry of Economy and the EC can make comments and proposals associated with ongoing negotiations ws. Contracts TTIP and Tisa.

The meeting was attended by representatives of non-governmental organizations, representatives of self-government institutions and employers' organizations, and representatives of the world of science.
