On April 1, officially launched the Pan-European call for proposals for the competition dot. Navigation Satellite Systems (European Satellite Navigation Competition). The call for proposals will end on 30 June. The total value of prizes for the best ideas is 1 million.

European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC), is a competition where the best ideas are selected applications of satellite navigation (GNSS). They can be used m. Al. in areas such as transport (water, sea and land), car navigation, aviation, medicine, energy, agriculture and public safety. The organizers of the project are: German Aerospace Center (DLR), the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Satellite Navigation Agency (GSA).

For the duration of the competition, ie. From 1 April to 30 June., anyone interested will be able to submit their ideas, which will then be evaluated by independent experts. The competition is open to individuals of legal age, teams of people, companies, scientific and educational institutions. Competition will be held simultaneously in many European countries, including Poland.

The best projects will receive specific funding for its implementation, and appropriate professional support and advisory services from professionals. In addition, the winners of the competitions held in different countries will participate in the final in Munich, applying the same for the grand prize (20 000) and several special awards.
