Minister Jurgiel expressed his hope for a quick removal of obstacles preventing the access of poultry meat to the Moldovan market.
An important topic of conversation was the implementation of the loan (100 million euros) granted by the Polish Government to Moldova as part of tied aid, for agriculture, food processing and associated infrastructure, as well as other goals agreed upon by the parties. The Ministers stated that it is necessary to support activities aimed at the efficient use of this loan. The Polish minister encourages producers to cooperate with Moldovan partners within the framework of the agreement. The information on the possibility of using it was posted on the Ministry’s website.
The Ministers agreed that in order to intensify the activities for the execution of this agreement, it will be appropriate to organise a visit of Polish investors to Moldova.
During the meeting both Ministers confirmed their interest in enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field of export support. Minister Jurgiel assured of the willingness for further knowledge and experience transfer in the area of agriculture by Polish experts, including the area rural development, cattle breeding and milk production, which is of particular interest to the Moldovan side.
