The Zhejiang Province is one of the richest regions in China with the highest purchasing power and a great potential for imported goods. Polish companies invested nearly 16 bln USD in the province in 2015.
Mr Zhou Ri Xing invited Polish entrepreneurs to participate in the fair and emphasized the fact that the Chinese are interested in imports of technologically advanced goods, as well as health food. The head of the delegation was also promoting the China-CEEC Investment and Trade Expo event in Ningbo (one of the biggest ports in China) which will be held in June this year, as well as another fair dedicated to the food sector which will be organized in November 2016.
China-CEEC Investment and Trade Expo is the biggest trade event within the 16+1 cooperation initiative. PAIiIZ participated twice in the event and organized economic missions of the Polish companies. We hope that, similarly to the previous years, Poland will play an important role in this key event for the 16+1 Central and Eastern European Countries and China cooperation initiative - said Mr Majman. Without Poland the 16+1 initiative would not exist, as Poland represents 40% of the economic potential of the region.
PAIiIZ will soon start the intake of applications. Details will be available on the website www.gochina.gov.pl.
