Mr Dąbrowski emphasized the fact that the aim of the Action plan for responsible development of Poland created by Mateusz Morawiecki, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Development is focused on promoting the export potential of Polish companies and regions. It is the first time that we cooperate with regions on such a scale while developing the pro-export offer - said Morawiecki. Thanks to this, we have a full picture of assets of Poland’s export offer. It will help us to be more efficient while reaching foreign partners on markets Polish companies are most interested in - he added.
Morawiecki also talked about expectations and needs of companies regarding export support. The first meetings with the companies show that Polish enterprises are ready to create groups and consortia in order to enter foreign markets. Activities undertaken by Ministry of Development and PAIiIZ match their needs, added Mr Dąbrowski.
- Together we are going to determine local business leaders which will become driving force of Polish export and a showcase for regions in priority sectors - said Mr Dąbrowski. Developing export activities of regional companies offering high quality products, new technologies should increase the Polish competitive advantages on foreign markets.
Mr Dąbrowski also declared that PAIIIZ will soon sign MoUs with partners in each of the Polish provinces. First talks have been held in Silesia, Lower Silesia and Lesser Poland, next it will be Greater Poland and northern provinces.
He also underlined the fact that the business groups will represent sectors which are most effective for their regions such as: energy sectors, food industry, BPO, new technologies and innovations (also exchange of technological know-how). Along with companies, we would like to promote Polish export hits abroad and encourage companies to increase their activities on international markets - declared Mr Dąbrowski. - We know that they appreciate cooperating with PAIiIZ. We have just received a key-partner status in the Łódź Agency of Regional Development programme called ‘Partner Wing’ which enables us to determine companies from the Łódzkie province to participate in the Action plan for responsible development of Poland.
Mr Dąbrowski also said that Poland will attract investments in a more efficient way by presenting Polish business offer abroad during economic missions and B2B meetings.
