They discussed the condition and prospects of intensification of the Polish and Korean cooperation. Minister Krzysztof Jurgiel asked for support with regard to resumption of exports of Polish pork and extension of the possibility to export products of plant origin to the Korean market.
Vice-Minister Kyung-Tae Oh declared the willingness of the Korean party to finish the pending procedures, although he emphasised that they required substantial amounts of work.
Minister Jurgiel repeated his invitation for the Korean Vice-Minister to visit Poland. In this context, the Ministers also discussed the potential cooperation with regard to food safety.
Polish Minister of Agriculture informed that Polish producers were becoming increasingly interested in cooperation with their Korean partners and in the promotional measures in place. He also invited his Korean counterpart to visit Polish stands during the Seoul Food & Hotel fairs to be held in May 2016.
