The Secretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Agriculture also stressed our country’s belief about the need for constructive cooperation within the framework of the EU to develop the best solutions, in order to be able to effectively compete in the global market and meet the challenges we were facing: the TTIP agreement with the United States, trade negotiations with Mercosur. The talks also referred to the future of the CAP and the issues of reducing differences in direct payments.
Excellent Polish and Spanish flavours were also discussed at the meeting of the regions, organised at the stand of the Region of Galicia by the Honorary Consul of Poland in Galicia, Juan M. Vieites Baptista de Souza, Vice-President of the Alimentaria Fair.
